Installation MCZ ego Pellet Stove 8kw

by k4mik4z3 » 16/07/13, 15:27

Hello everybody
After receiving my last bill from EDF regulations, I got in the head of changed the heating mode to avoid surprises, so my choice is on a shovel pan + ecological + economic = only happiness
I specify in passing, that I acquired the house in December, that I made the mistake of replacing my old electric radiators with heat transfer fluids, badly thought of my thing I know : Cheesy: : Cheesy:
so here after different estimate, various proposed solution, I opted for a 8kw stove, with air comfort to propel the air in ducts, one that leaves in the corridor, and the other upstairs, while knowing that a blower will be on the front of the stove.
I have 115m2 heated, my beautiful sister 90m2 on a level with 6kw and it's an oven at home.
What do you think of this type of heating, life of the stove, maintenance ... The MCZ brand?
For the quote I'm interested in, I'm on 7200th for the moment I managed to negotiate 500th to deduct, a ton of granulate, + the tax credit which adds to all this, and a loan at zero rate : Cheesy: : Cheesy: : Cheesy: : Cheesy: : Cheesy:

Uh the quote included what exactly? Is it a hydraulic model?

An 8kW pellet stove is normally between 1500 and 3000 € ... not installed but 19.6% VAT ...

VAT at 7%

This is what he offers me

it is not a hydraulic model, because for that it would replace a boiler and it is not the case : Cheesy:

Hello
so I agree with christophe regarding the price of the material
, you have to make several quotes because it is inflated !!
3000 € max material is already not bad.
or he played on the price of the stove so that you have more tax credit (15% on 3000 € or 5700 € it's not the same story) but in the end the bill is still there !!

question 1: have you ever seen the stove in operation? to get an idea of the noise?
2: will the stove be placed in the center of your home?

have a good day

the price of the stove is laid + Mo casing, with a discount of 500th which is not included in the quote.
I made other quotes, and for 1000th on less the total I have a 6kw without the air comfort which propels in ducts, and without the ton of granule, in operation it is correct, for the noise.
The quote is the most suitable out of the 5 I have made : Cheesy: : Cheesy:

Well, it’s because they live in a corner with a lot of clowns ... : Mrgreen:

Then it's your money, not ours ...

Take a look at the price of pellet stoves in the bricos ...

If there is no chimney to assemble or tub, a pellet stove is installed in 2 to 3 hours maximum!

So for the record, it is to replace an existing chimney, so tax credit at 25%, plus the system that allows to propel the air in pipes, the fact that the data is for heated a large volume, the pan you are talking about they are given for not huge value for the same power according to the pan it does not heat the same volume, this is what I have found in different dealers, who have the same certification .
Do you find it expensive?
Me especially what I wanted to know is if some have a retex over several years, what do you think of the quality of heating?
And then between 1800 paid for electric heating per year, and I am in the low average compared to all that I hear around me, and 450 of pellet the choice is quickly seen

@christophe and nono54

If I understood correctly, it is a "ductable" stove, which is designed to "distribute" the air by aerolics.

It's a little more expensive ...

After, the prices, I do not know.

@ k4mik4z3

Indeed, you should know that the "ducts" also transmit noise ... Depending on how you live, it can be annoying ... or not at all!

Also take a look at the "distribution" of energy: how much is emitted by the stove in its room and how much is sent to the ducts; this can prevent overheating in the room ... Sometimes it is adjustable.

Yes that's exactly it, on the other hand for the noise transmission through the ducts, that I did not take it into account, but it is true that each fan is adjustable independently depending on what we are looking for, I will inquire to go see this type of installation in a private home, it might be not bad!

Sorry I insist but it is still expensive paid!

Nothing prevents to take a pellet stove without sheaths (2500 €) and to put an independent system of heat redistribution from the room where the stove is!

It is found in a kit at 200-300 € (3 or 4 pipes therefore parts to be heated)
