Hello,
When renovating part of the house, I put yellow glass wool in panels which was on the wall,
I discovered white glass wool "in bulk" in recesses, wool much softer to the touch than the yellow, less structured, almost a ball of cotton, and today I have just discovered in a partition of the green glass wool which looks the same as the yellow panel.
Do glass wools of different colors have specific functions?
Are there other colors?
Goods.
Kinds of glass wool
Re: Kinds of glass wool
Hello, I discovered in my lost attic some fluorescent green glass wool like the one you show in the photo. Did you find out what it was about? Do you know if it may contain asbestos? THANKS

I don't know if it's this:

But if it is, no asbestos in it and no more irritation.

No, mine dates from the 90s. But I had confirmation that it did not contain asbestos. Thank you for your reply.

Re: Kinds of glass wool
Hello and welcome,
I tell you this, do what you want, but be very careful — and you do well to talk about asbestos — my biochemistry teacher always told me that after the asbestos scandal, would come the glass wool scandal...
So wear breathing masks, goggles, and hooded dust suits, then slippers.
But today we can do without it with cellulose wadding (you still have to protect your airways too)
