Hood: fitting tile socket

by moby25 » 24/01/11, 22:01

Hello

I bought a socket tile with lantern of this type to pass my hood which is currently in recycling in extraction.

On the other hand I am afraid that during heavy rain the water will seep.
Have any of you faced this problem?

Thank you

In principle, these products are tested and approved by CSTB: http://www.cstb.fr/ .

I have two socket tiles of a slightly different model and I have never had any infiltration, however here it sells and it floats!

Yes for the rain, well protected, but I took flight from the hat in strong winds several times which falls by breaking a tile !!
But on ventilation tile with higher hat.
Result I attach the hat with wire to the frame!
