Call for witnesses: ecological way of life

by amandinejovi » 08/11/10, 22:39

Hello,
I am a high school student who works on a TPE on ecology and I need some answers ... : Cheesy:

I would need to make contact with people who possibly use an ecological way of life or who have an ecological house to be able to "advance" in our TPE

And one last little question,

For people who have chosen an ecological way of life; does living with a green lifestyle bring you something, a level of well-being, apart from respecting the planet?

I'm waiting impatiently for your answer :P

Thank you very much

Hello! : Lol:

That's a funny one! You think everyone is going to vote "NO" on a site dedicated to that ... or you want to get a general satisfaction from your first post? :?

If these questions interest you "as a high school student", and to have a large overview, you can participate in this thread, which seems to stick to your motivation:

Actually I think you should rephrase your question or remove it. I hope in any case that you do not use it to make statistics they would indeed have little value.

I also invite you to clarify the concepts:

- Ecology is the sicence which studies the relations of all sorts between the living species ...

- we are all "ecological", whether we are paraista, saprophyte, symbiote ...

For what I guess under your question, it would be more accurate to speak:

- a carbon footprint (how much is CO2 released from fossil fuels?)

- environmental footprint (this includes other resources)

- or use of renewable resources

"Ecology" is indeed overused: "respect for the environment" would be better.

Now, there are tons of degrees between the descending gardening enthusiast who is going to put all his savings into insulation, billboards, etc. and who is buying bio-equals between two visits to the dry toilets and ......
