Increase the draft of a wood boiler

by dominadine » 29/10/10, 16:02

I have a mosaic boiler with reverse draft, sheathed at 153 outlet then sheathed in bushel at 180 over 8m. my house is located on a hillside without trees or hillocks that can alter the winds, 50cm chimney above the ridge with a simple mitron. my print comes around 1,1.2 min of depression,
I would like to increase this draw since according to the description, I need 1.5 and + for a good functioning. but how?
I have heard of the top jura of a U shaped smoke extractor which would give good results, so if you have good tips, I would be happy to read them.
(I use dry wood, the outlet of the boiler is very little bent)

answer via google:

Extend the chimney, heat it, keep the house warm, insufficient ventilation and air inlets (VMC which sucks in), shrinking (set the outlet to 180), etc.
isolate it better because it is too cold.

In extreme circumstances, an extractor must be installed.

A basic solution in desperation:
electric suction fan:
