16-22 September 2006: Mobility Week

European Mobility Week will take place from 16 to 22 September 2006.

The theme of this 5th edition, climate change, makes it possible to promote more particularly less polluting modes of transport.

In France, the Ministry of Ecology and Sustainable Development and the Ministry of Transport, Equipment, Tourism and the Sea are coordinating this event, in partnership with ADEME, GIE Objectif transport public, FUBicy and the Cycling Towns Club, around the slogan "Move differently! The best energy is yours!"

On the theme of responsible and sustainable mobility, the ministries and their partners wish to bring together:

* communities: cities, towns, mixed unions, departments, regions, authorities organizing transport
* companies operating transport networks
* associations
* businesses
* public services

European Mobility Week will therefore be an opportunity to test or strengthen the use of soft modes of transport.

Everyone's participation is essential, so go to the sections opposite, depending on your type of organization.
