New batteries sodium charge / discharge / duration x10

Innovations, ideas or patents for sustainable development. Decrease in energy consumption, reduction of pollution, improvement of yields or processes ... Myths or reality about inventions of the past or the future: the inventions of Tesla, Newman, Perendev, Galey, Bearden, cold fusion ...

As long as it succeeds ...

I feel like I've seen a bunch of announcements about the battery revolution. But there is a gradual improvement rather than a major technological breakthrough (for now).
3.6 Million euros, it's not such an impressive fundraiser as this but if it can lead to something ...

The battery remains a sacred "bottleneck" both on questions of electric mobility and on questions of self-production.

Duplicate subject: electricity-electronics-informatics / innovation-battery-sodium-ion-t15766.html

What worries me a little bit in the article is IFP ...

Obviously this start-up will not weigh heavily against the Chinese (the notion of respecting a "patent" or other industrial property is unknown in China ... I saw Chinese people who were selling Start-up ideas then that the start-up was still at the fundraising stage or, at best, pre-order ... : Cheesy: : Cheesy: : Cheesy: )

: Shock: AAAAgrrrhhhh !!! These p ...... of slings! : Evil: : Cry: What are we waiting for to bomb them!

Uhhhh ..... except that China has the same patent laws as other countries :

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patent_la ... c_of_China (In English, it would be necessary to make the page in French because it does not exist !!!)

China is one of the biggest patent holders in the world. See WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) info: "China Drives International Patent Applications to Record Heights; Demand Rising for Trademark and Industrial Design Protection":

etc ...

China files, sells and buys a lot of patents.

China has a bad reputation in this area, but it is increasingly unjustified: after catching up with its Western competitors, it is now massively innovating in many areas. The basic reflection would have been rather this one: Of course this start-up will not weigh heavy against the Chinese if they decide (and it is certain if this way offers opportunities) to invest massively in this kind of technology .

If they decide?
The Chinese decided a long time ago to invest billions of euros in this area. Example in Europe: https://www.lesechos.fr/09/07/2018/lese ... emagne.htm

The Chinese work on all technologies including that of Na-ion batteries:

Yes that's the theory ... in practice, I think there is very little chance that a Western SME can win a lawsuit (and at what human and financial cost?) In a country that can still be in many respects a dictatorship ... and even if it won against a company, the Chinese copy each other so much that it would be a waste!
