Re: Covid-19 and the renin-angiotensin system / Jean-Marc Sabatier
Normal, me neither
I appeal to the knowledgeable.
I have long-term treatment for hypertension.
There is a generic "Angiotensin 2 (or AC2) Inhibitor".
It blocks the formation of a substance responsible for contraction of the arteries, which increases blood pressure and tires the heart.
As the spikes search for AC2 receptors to stick to them, Columbo asked his GP a year ago if, by taking an AC2 antagonist, he would not be somewhat protected against covid?
No answer due to ignorance of the doctor.
And I still don't know.
It was then that I came across Professor Jean-Marc Sabatier's study.
Is it the same, what if Columbo had sniffed something.

I don't understand much either, you have to have done medicine
but the result confirms what we hear elsewhere have a good dose of vit D.
Jean-Marc Sabatier is from Aix Marseille, from here to what we say that he is a friend of Raoult and that his work ends in a cupboard ...

Re: Covid-19 and the renin-angiotensin system / Jean-Marc Sabatier
We must stop believing that the pathologies are due to a given type of dysfunction (in this case we would supplement with Vit. “D” and the problem would be solved.... Or that if we had the “chemical molecule that is fine” it would solve the problem definitively.... It would just be a crutch until we had treated ALL the causes...
In target cells, the angiotensin II/AT1 receptor interaction generates various signals, including a functional response immediate calcium-dependent. It is therefore necessary that the "calcium metabolism" works properly, hence the vitamin "D" which is essential, but not only. A bolus of food that is too acidic (the case of almost everyone these days, especially and in particular with the consumption of white sugar), will cause our calcium reserves to be eaten away, why? Because acid attacks can only be compensated by an alkali and then our metabolism will draw on its reserves: bones, teeth, nails... But when it is there, it is already a rather serious problem.

in short, you shouldn't blame the car's engine when it's the brakes that are messing up. The hyper-specialization in medicine has led to individuals being cut into slices, organ by organ, as if each were independent of the others. Hence the many failures of this fact!Because acid attacks can only be compensated by an alkali and then our metabolism will draw on its reserves: bones, teeth, nails... But when it is there, it is already a rather serious problem.
in the same way, always by comparing with the car, the mechanic cannot repair the defective parts while the vehicle is moving, hence the need to leave the car at rest and for human vehicles this is called the diet or fasting so that the overworked organs can gradually regenerate. Clearly, it takes longer to repair than to break and the temporary tinkering of current medicine only delays the final breakage by aggravating the situation.

No, that seems reductive to me, in fact it's vital, don't forget that it's because the human body must imperatively maintain a blood pH at 7,40 (pH homeostasis between 7,38 and 7,42) otherwise we die.
There are six “buffer systems” to regulate plasma pH, but when the body is overwhelmed it must draw on its reserves.

Normally, one cites one's sources rather than suggesting that they are "one's knowledge".....wanting to pass for a cador..

Shut up because precisely what wikipedia says is wrong. And I'll let you tell us “why” so you'll have the (unique?) opportunity to show off your zest (if you had the information)... There are even several errors.sicetaitsimple wrote:Obamot wrote:No, it's too simplistic, in fact it's vital, it's because the human body must imperatively maintain a blood pH at 7,40 (pH homeostasis between 7,38 and 7,42) otherwise we die.

Oh good? Yet that's what you said (recopied) practically word for word!
I let everyone check, I provided the Wikipedia link.
