Our daily poison. Documentary on junk food, Arte

by Christophe » 25/02/11, 16:02

In line with documentaries on industrial food: Our daily bread, Food Inc. ou We feed the world, Arte will broadcast on March 15, 2011: Our daily poison: http://www.arte.tv/fr/Comprendre-le-mon ... 73748.html

Our Daily Poison is a great investigation that relentlessly demonstrates how the chemical industry poisons our plates.

4 extracts to see today:
Pesticide

How do you know if a pesticide is toxic to health? The answer should be found at the International Agency for Research on Cancer, which coordinates all studies and research on chemicals. But what is it really?

Aspartame

Its real name is E951, and it is found in many foods. This famous E951 is better known by the name of aspartame. A familiar word that hides many doubts about its impact on human health. Back to an amazing story.

Bisphenol A

Plastic is a much more living material than we think. And perhaps more dangerous too. The case of Bisphenol A which is found in particular in the composition of baby bottles has provoked a controversy on an international scale.

India

The state of Orissa in India has a peculiarity: there are fewer cases of cancer and fewer obese people than in Western societies. These Indians live and feed on their traditional agriculture. Difficult not to see a link to it.

On Arte at the moment another Our daily poison and false studies and rigged authorizations, in particular the dangerous and carcinogenic aspartame for mice and much less for men, mice and rats too fragile and sick !!

A magnificent example of lobbies and trust of scientists !!

Eat lots of aspartame, you are more resistant than mice !!

We all have too much biphenyl as the dangerous oil in the laboratory far below the authorized threshold !!

In addition to the synergy of the mixtures:
0 + 0 + 0 = 60% effect !!

Too complex and therefore not taken into account unlike drugs !!

The product regulations must be reviewed, enough to explain the multiplication by 2 of cancers especially in developed countries full of pesticides, linked to what we eat with certainty !!

Hurry to eat organic, even more expensive by eating less than junk food junk food before, so no more expensive, with much less meat, pig, sugar, milk etc .. !!

So you decrease your inflammation, the bed of cancer, by reducing the immune system !!
Certain vegetables, garlic, cabbage, turmeric, curry, etc. and fruits stop this inflammation.

Proven by comparing poor regions with no pesticides and junk food and no red meat (sacred cows) with India !!

And we are in the process of passing on our western diseases, such as cancer.

Indeed, edifying on the lack of independence of the competent authorities vis-à-vis industrial groups.

This part of the documentary is a bit sloppy and lacks figures. We know that the risk of developing cancer increases with age and as life expectancy is much higher in the West, this statement must certainly be put into perspective.

At what daily dose?

Too complex and therefore not taken into account unlike drugs !!

First or second degree?
Very interesting documentary. It looked like a copy / paste of another documentary on labs and chemical drugs passed some time ago. Same mechanisms, same lack of independence between manufacturers and administrations, secret tests, reports by the industry judge and party, ignorance of the health authorities on their own documents and obvious bad faith, harmful action in very small doses (homeopathic or almost ?), etc… and last point that no one (?) had thought of: the cocktail effect as for chemical drugs: 0 + 0 + 0 = 60% more cancers : Cry: and the last Canadian speaker showing that the selection of certain foods reduced the rat tumor by 90% compared to the control. And to finish this maxim which is still valid today which ends the film: “ Let your food be your medicine and let your medicine be your food »Hippocrates
