Vehicles of the future

Transport and new transport: energy, pollution, engine innovations, concept car, hybrid vehicles, prototypes, pollution control, emission standards, tax. not individual transport modes: transport, organization, carsharing or carpooling. Transport without or with less oil.

Vehicles of the future

by Grelinette » 17/07/09, 09:42

Here are some futuristic contraptions devised by engineers. I'm curious which will actually be used in the future:

For speculation on conceptual delusions of engineers and engineering (it makes me laugh at all since 1 moment ...) I do not comment me ...

By cons I know the near future I will use much this one: : Cheesy:

Image

It may not be as "designer" but at least ... it rolls! 100% functional and 0.0055 kWh / km ...

Pkoi be expensive and complicated?

Wish I would measure the volume of the "trunk" ...

I see no electric assist on your vehicle of the future ...
it's probably that the passenger in the trailer has a whip to motivate the cyclist! : Cheesy:

? Well, you can not see ... : Shock:

Look at the rear wheel hub and the "block" behind the saddle ...

At price: € 510 all inclusive ... which runs on electricity for that price? Not many ... : Cheesy: or rather : Cry:

more this type of system does not date 2 or 3 years but older:

the only difference is the assistance which was in oil whereas now it is electric, the design has also changed but nothing very "technological";)

Absolutely! And it is not "for nothing" that the solex came out just after the war (period of shortage) ...

And you know this one: https://www.econologie.com/forums/mottrix-ki ... tml#130885

this kind of system (motor wheel causing the bicycle wheel) is not new, there is the old system to an excessive loss of energy compared to electric motors and drive the rear wheel.
Now the system has been improved because I did not know this manufacturing;)

Inventions by designers are a subject that interest me. I opened a discussion earlier this month on this topic in another forum http://trains-de-jardin.fr/forum/viewto ... =46&t=1163

The EniCycle is improved unicycle created by Aleksander doo rolling alone (via an electric motor 1000 watts) and is equipped, like the Segway, a mini-gyroscope to limit falls. Only 15 minutes would be required to learn to use!

Two prototypes exist, but the creator is looking for a partner to market it!

You have to see the movie page of the presentation http://www.enicycle.com/movie.html Especially for its western music.
