A plug-in hybrid van car via the electrical network for ... 2012?

Bright Automotive has unveiled its future plug-in hybrid van, the Idea.

This 1600 kg urban delivery vehicle is approximately 25% lighter than comparable vehicles, due to the use of stronger and lighter materials than steel.

It travels 50 km in all-electric mode, and subsequently consumes 5,9 liters / 100 km. Its marketing is planned for 2012.

Well it's simple elephant: the original prius is not pluggable on the sector, so enthusiasts have made sure to modify ("hacker" = unwanted modification by the "creators" of a real or virtual object) their prius in order to make it rechargeable by the mains..for small urban journeys it makes it a 100% electric car, impossible in the original state because the batteries were sooner or later necessarily recharged by the heat engine which had to light ...

Toyota could (should?) Have been inspired by it ... but they must have "instructions" ... too bad ...
