My old Nissan is very happy to drive with a 50% oil, 50% diesel mixture.
For now, I'm filtering my restaurant oil with hard coffee filters.
I don't want to tinker with sheets, or filter bags…
Buying a filter with pump is too expensive 3000 euros.
So, I prepare the material to make a good filter, with a pump (it will allow me to filter + -100 liters an hour)
I have almost everything except a spring ……
As the filter will be removable, I need a spring to support the filter on a gasket

Inner diameter of the spring, 27 mm
The ends of the spring must be flat (important)
Spring length + - 100mm
I'm thinking of a valve spring, or a clutch spring, for example ... but 27mm minimum inside diameter.
It is not easy to find….

Vi, 27, or 28 mm, this is important, to center the filter
The spring will be threaded on a 26mm diameter tube.
The diameter, and the number of turns? no idea ..
I would say that there will be a pressure of 1 bar max of oil on the Oring seal. The spring is used to seal between the filter and the oring.
The spring will be compressed by a threaded rod of + - 10 cm.

Finally my friend farmer and very good handyman made my filter without spring.
Second-hand filter with 5 micron of recovery,
The stainless steel recovery nozzle.
There is a view of the threaded rod inside, (which is used to tighten the filter on its seals, and a view before mounting.
Now you have to connect the pump, and that's 3000 euros won, and basta the coffee filters
