A hydrogen gas station on a trailer

by Christophe » 10/11/06, 11:14

Researchers from the Fraunhofer Institute IVI (Fraunhofer-Institut für Verkehrs- und Infrastruktursysteme) of Dresden's transport systems have developed a mobile service station delivering hydrogen. Called HyTra, this station was designed as a flexible alternative to stationary production facilities. Mounted on a trailer, HyTra is easily moved, producing and storing hydrogen in various locations. In addition, the hydrogen supply is fully automatic and does not require a pump attendant. HyTra has been certified by the technical inspection center TÜV Industrie Service GmbH, a benchmark in terms of safety and reliability.

I think it is a good idea for "illegal" distributors of HVB in France :)... well I think some have already thought about it! 8)
