For those interested in the subject, there is the cars ranking 2006 on this page: https://www.econologie.com/classement-20 ... -2895.html

As well as different docs of the Ademe on this subject:

- The different European labels on cars https://www.econologie.com/les-different ... -2891.html

- Incentives to purchase vehicles with less CO2 emitters
https://www.econologie.com/les-incitatio ... -2892.html

- Euro standards for new vehicles
https://www.econologie.com/les-normes-eu ... -2893.html

- Private vehicles in France
https://www.econologie.com/les-vehicules ... -2894.html

This is all very well but we are producing more and more diesel vehicles (for UNIQUE cause of CO2 emission lower than other energies : Mrgreen: ) BUT we still forget these damn particles harmful to health since only 10% are equipped with particle filters.
it looks like a leak ahead to reduce the emissions of CO2 at all costs, while during this time air transport (which escapes the Kyoto agreements !!) will see its emissions (which already exceed those of France alone) multiplied by 3 to 15 by 2050 (Jean-Marc Jancovici). These emissions would represent 2 times the current US CO2 emission !!!! Source: book "The syndrome of Titanic" Nicolas Hulot. : Evil:

6. Diesel vehicles continue to hold around 70% of the market share causing a worrying tension on refining in France.

7. Only 10% of Diesel vehicles sold in 2005 are equipped with standard particle filters. In classes B and C of low C02, the percentage is even lower with respectively 0,3% and 4,6%.

Eerie: I wonder if behind this masquerade there is not a devious will to boost the automotive industry AT ALL COSTS using the "global warming" argument and eliminating old vehicles while they are still in state (including GPL taxed to emit too much CO2 ...... even if they do not send dirty particles into the lungs of our children).
Why the ADEME does not put "note" on the ground pollution inducing serious health problems related to the emissions of harmful compounds contained in the fuels and not (or badly) eliminated by the FAP or catalytic converter (see studies on these "depolluters" who are not really).

Only when he has brought down the last tree, the last river contaminated, the last fish caught that man will realize that money is not edible (Indian MOHAWK).
