[Solved: swirl butterflies] What's that on a 1.9 TiD Saab engine (small oil leak on the cylinder head)?

I noticed a small oil leak on the cylinder head of my old 1.9 km saab TiD 280, the leak is located behind the glow plugs (passenger compartment side) on a plastic stud...

This engine is an Opel / Fiat base...and there are 4 studs and they are connected by a kind of strip (about 5 mm wide) which can rotate according to its largest dimension (free movement about 30°. ..)??

There is a hole in the center of the strap but nothing is connected to it (maybe something is missing?)

In the photo it looks like this:

I have no idea of their usefulness or the strap? What is the function of these studs and their connection?

Is it serious doctor Macro? Does it change? Easily ?

ps: I connected the OBD this morning, I have no engine fault...

The swirl is a kind of piloted butterfly that creates turbulence at low revs "like" (better than) a VSLA. On some engines, the EGR valve and breather take care of screwing it all up under a mountain of greasy gunk so that it ends up getting stuck in an intermediate position. The butterfly shafts may have forced / worn their housing until leaking / drooling.

Uh ok I understand better except that there is (more?) no control on it?

I am in the process of redoing a 2.5 tfsi audi block that has broken down because of this... A screw that held a butterfly screwed down and caused mayhem in a cylinder...
