Flytox was lucky to have a formula 1 piston in their hands, here are 4 photos ... It's beautiful ... but what does it break quickly! : Cheesy:

I will soon be able to re-open the engine of my 500XR R RVFC ... The Wiseko piston that I mounted in it 7 or 8 years ago had a bit the same boiling (upper guide length and less pronounced valve housing anyway) ... I'll have to take some pictures ...

That said following my last waffle with the machine (beam, handlebars and twisted frame) .... I am not sure if it is worth it that I recondition the engine ....

Guidance level you can hardly do less than in F1!

Although, I do not know where they are currently: I do not know exactly what year these photos date: Flytox had sent them in 2009 ...

Flytox will tell us more!

As for the date ...
Peugeot stopped manufacturing F1 engines in 2000 ...

Ah yes then ... that dates! If anyone is lucky enough to have a "more modern" F1 Piston in their hands ... I want to see it!

In thermodynamics class, our teacher had shown us one, specifying that it was almost "secret defense" ... but at the time smartphones did not exist ...

I could also dismantle my elsbett engine for you and take pictures of it ....

In 1992..3 cylinders, diesel cycle. unit direct injection with double-entry injectors controlled by a second camshaft with advance and variable flow by fully mechanical regulation housed in the "rocker cover"), dual therm radial direct injection pistons. 1400cc, low pressure turbo, power 75hp consumption mounted in a merco 190: 3.9 of raw vegetable oil for 100km, no cylinder head gasket, no coolant ... 250km traveled on a passat (dismantled by a breaker after seizure and destruction by customs) ... 000 experimental units built ... 500 awaiting revival in my workshop ...

This engine has been mounted on an experimental basis on a few hundred vehicles in Europe .... to my knowledge
Mercedes 190
renault 21 (agricultural france ..Hailed by Jacques Chirac at an agricultural fair and full report in a science and life from 1992/93)
and the passat from which mine comes (which includes a good number of cars from the VAG group on which it could be mounted) ...

Its connection is to SAE standards (like many engines) and it can be mounted on many models ...

I would like to swap it in a Golf 1 cabrio ... The concern is purely administrative ... On the other hand its maximum torque regime is quite high (around 2500rpm) it may be quite unpleasant in pepere use .. .

No, I just ran into an ad on LBC one day and bought it ....
Biofuels / d-have-found-the-grail-from-a-motor-oil-Elsbett-t12441.html? Hilit% = Motor 20elsbett # p255496

Since he is waiting to restart (the former owner made him turn from time to time but he had stopped because of the timing belt which he was afraid of blowing up)
