by Christophe » 14/02/14, 16:17

This is what this page promises: http://www.usinenouvelle.com/article/bm ... tion-avant

Double revolution at BMW. The propeller brand presented this Friday, February 14, its first compact MPV: the Serie 2 Active Tourer. Assembled on the platform of the Mini Countryman, it is also the first front-wheel drive car of the German brand. This vehicle will compete with the Renault Scenic and the Citroën C4 Picasso but above all, in the premium segment, the Mercedes Class B. For its launch, a diesel engine and two petrol engines will be offered but the Bavarian manufacturer is also working on a Rechargeable hybrid powertrain. Before its commercialization, the Serie 2 Active Tourer should be presented at the next Geneva Motor Show, which will take place from March 6 to 16.

Hello,

The plug-in hybrid is good for going to work because it avoids driving cold with the petrol engine (at the choke) where the catalyst must warm up before cleaning up.
After may need to connect almost every day, the battery is generally not very big ...

Expensive to buy but ecological bonus.
