How to do ??

by sylvain78 » 20/02/07, 18:26

Hello,

I live in a residence and there are selective sorting bins. The problem is that the bin for normal waste is needed in the region of 600 liters while that for cardboard boxes in plastic, paper in metal boxes is 200 liters 3x smaller. And the one in cardboard and always full so force to throw in the normal trash. How to exchange trash? The normal one put it in cardboard paper metal box ... And the other in normal trash ?? Because after all we have almost nothing in normal garbage. I specify that the recycling bin passes every Tuesday and there are 6 apartments to depend on this bin

Thank you

30 liters per household and per week is "a bit tight"
I do not know the regulations of your garbage disposal service, but could not the boxes be put on the street in other boxes?
do users think enough to compress (trample) plastic bottles and cans?
if laundry bottles are allowed, they can be opened so that they themselves become containers

Exchanging the trash cans would surely be useless because garbage collectors may not collect them.
Rather, you should speak to the building trustee about the problem and contact the town hall to ask for more appropriate bins.

Thank you I will write to the town hall to request either the change of trash or that the garbage collectors pass at least twice a week. And I was wrong there are 12 households that correspond to this trash. Or about 15L of waste per family per week

Maybe you can compress your waste before putting it
in the dif trash cans. It now sells electric log splitters
horizontal which with a small change could make you
this service.
It is sure that this represents a big investment for what
you plan to do it but your problem will be solved.
