Petition to support 4 de Bure (nuclear waste bin)

: Shock:
SUPPORT TO 4 DE BURE

This summer, four young anti-nuclear activists, Thyl, Blanche, Rémi and Mikael, were heavily condemned by the Bar-le-Duc court. Tried in immediate appearance after 5 days in prison, they were accused, during an anti-nuclear demonstration in BURE (Meuse), of setting fire to a few bales of straw, of having thrown a few stones in the direction of the forces of order and of having uttered outrageous remarks…
They were sentenced to 6 and 10 months suspended prison sentence, 2 years probation with judicial control, 2 years ban on leaving the national territory and 2 years ban on stay in Meuse and Haute- Marl. They must also pay 500 euros in damages to each of the 6 gendarmes who have joined the civil party. In addition, on November 13, a request for 127 euros claimed by ANDRA (National Agency for Radioactive Waste Management) will be examined by the same Court.

WHY WERE THEY DEMONSTRATING?

For a dozen years, the inhabitants and elected officials of the BURE region, formed into collectives, have resisted the transformation of their territory into a nuclear bin. They tirelessly denounce the lack of democratic debate.
On June 15, out of the 577 deputies in the National Assembly, only 19 present voted for the worst option in the treatment of nuclear waste: landfill! It was in this particular context that, during the last rally, and faced with this denial of democracy, scuffles broke out and our four activists were apprehended and heavily condemned.
:x
"Where is the democracy, on which side is the drift and the real violence?", We cannot let these young people pay alone for the anti-democratic drifts and the exorbitant demands of ANDRA!

This text, this cry of alarm, was given to me by one of the parents of the 4 young people. We cannot sit idly by; we must support these young people, their families and their friends because the cause is just. As for repression, this is the only way to dialogue with the government! :!:

What?
Do you maintain that the government is trying to force through? : Shock:
Do you mean that nuclear management in France is not done in the greatest concertedness and in the most complete transparency? : Shock:

No it is not possible !!!

It would not be known if a government tried, for example to build a new power plant against the opinion of the population.

It would know if the so-called "debate" was only a masquerade not calling into question choices already validated even before the start of this debate.

It would be unclear whether, during this pseudo-debate, elements against the EPR had been censored and the voices of the anti mufflers.

It would know if COGEMA had succeeded in passing a law to make "confidential-defense" everything related to nuclear power - including civil - in France.

On all these major subjects that endanger our environment (GMOs, nuclear, pesticides, junk food, ...) democracy is flouted and only a few modern heroes risk their freedom to force the gaze to turn to the subjects that we tries to impose ourselves on the sly. : Evil:

Small flat on this case: why to have yielded to violence (caillassages)?
Does this give legitimacy to repression? : Cry:
