Google Public Data: All Global Statistics

by Christophe » 17/03/10, 23:54

I just found it out: http://www.google.com/publicdata/home

Very interesting for all those "looking for figures and statistics" ...

To be searched if necessary therefore!

Operation: http://www.google.com/publicdata/faq

Is there no ... search engine? : Shock:

Example of economic statistics: consumption in kWh / inhabitant by country since 1960: http://www.google.com/publicdata/explor ... S&dl=en_US

Yes, it's really cool (it will appeal to students and teachers) except that it lacks a search engine ... or did I not search well? Anyway, I didn't find it ...

A shame for a tool from Google right? : Cheesy:

Very instructive, we learn that Norway 24300KWh spends much more electricity than Canada 16753, Sweden 15231, USA 13582, which also much more than France 7813, Italy 5751, China 2043, etc ...
The differences are huge and correlated with the cold !!
We can also watch CO2 per head !!
The whole world: 4,53 tonnes per inhabitant !!
France 6,5, USA 19,5, China 4,3, Germany 9,5,
The differences are huge as well as the changes in the past !!
Some have reduced, like France and Germany, but Australia has exploded !!
Clearly the USA could reduce to our level without being worse than us !!!!
For military expenses it is quite different !!
