Liquid Led

by Phoebus » 03/12/09, 16:51

Hello,

Has anyone heard of the liquid LED and if so, what can we think of the arguments put forward.

In short, this new Led (alternating current) equipped with a liquid cooling system would have an extended lifespan, a smaller size compared to "classic" Led of equivalent power, it would also do without bulky heat sink and finally have an enlarged lighting angle. I find no mention of it anywhere, except on commercial sites, at least in French, which makes me doubt the truth of the matter.

Hello,

explanations:
http://www.lampe-de-luminotherapie.com/spot-led/

Relatively expensive lamp, only exists at low power (4 W = 25 to 30 W incandescent)
Low wavelength emission angle ???

:?: That's it: Liquid LEDs

site image my-LED.

It is still limited in light power, it starts in 10W incandescent equivalent:
5W Liquileds Lightbulb can replace 40W Incandescent bulbs and 5 ~ 8W CFLs.

Ho!

http://www.lampe-de-luminotherapie.com/spot-led/
A little overvalued the price of compact fluorescent:

15 to 30 euros !!!!!!!!!!
Here I pay 1,25 Canayen dollars for a 9 watt Phillips, 3,25 Canayen for 18 watts.

These liquid LEDs are interesting but you will have to review the price!

The height is that Phillips is precisely European so you should at least "pee" the same price as us !!!!

There are so many price differences on many products, I can hardly understand why you pay so much when the euro is so high.
