Choice of a three-phase electrical differential

by chitop » 19/03/09, 10:13

hello, I'm going to renovate an old tri-fuse board with circuit breaker and find out if I can put a 32A four-pole circuit breaker (which I already have) with a 30mA complement to protect a tri 20A socket as well as a dependence at 75 meters with 3 sorting plug knowing that the rigid wire for a socket is 4 mm2 as well as the cable that goes to the dependence OR then put an interdifferential tetra 20 to 30 my type ac thank you and good day

The differential switch does not dispense with the circuit breaker, the two are complementary.

Please note if the cable length is large up to the annex building, the leakage current between cable and earth (especially if the cable is buried) can cause the RCD to trip (possible from 15 mA).

hello and thank you for the answer, am in good standing if out edf counter
I have :
a 32 A tetra curve D circuit breaker, a 30 ma tetra block, 20 A sockets, all wired in 4 mm2 (I cannot change the cables) thank you

Is that so ??? c is worrying ... unless the cable is before the war ...
20 years of work never seen that! :|

Crispus, I think it's "leakage" current but rather losses by joule effect ... don't you think so?

Here is a table which gives the acceptable limits according to the powers and the section of the cable: http://www.volta-electricite.info/artic ... =fr&pg=605

Example: with a 2,5mm² cable you can make 43m for a power of 2kW in 220V with a voltage drop loss of less than 3%.

Yes or 16kW and even a little more because the Cos phi of this table is at 0.8 ... but a voltage loss of 5% all the same. To see if it will not trip the 30 mA circuit breaker? But for 20A there is a comfortable safety margin!

But in fact, I do not understand too much pkoi he wants to put the 30 mA so far from the sockets ... Pkoi not to put the 300mA in the main cabinet and the 30 mA in the local cabinet at 75m?

hello, so considering the abac length, amperage, so with circuit breaker 32 a + 30ma or 300 ma (the cable is new) but the dumpling is for the 220 mono because currently I have 75 meter in length for a section of 2.5 mm2 with protection of 20a for sockets and 16a for lighting with differential 30 mA
seen the table I am not good but what a risk there is if we pull 20 a cable background!
