The eco-friendly RITI printer

by candas1 » 03/02/09, 16:22

An eco-friendly printer that turns coffee into ink, you had to think about it! That's what RITI does by designing its ecological printer around a simple process: the printer recycles the coffee grounds directly and uses them for ink.

The idea is excellent but limited to "temporary" documents (but this must represent 80% of the documents printed in a company): because the readability may not be very long. So invoice for example: not possible.

So if she goes out one day, they already have a client ...

But I'm pessimistic for them ...

Warning: it will be expensive! What do you think HP, Canon, Lexmark, Epson really earns? At the price where are the printers currently .... :D

So much for me, I zapped
But otherwise I get to drink Turkish coffee, and in this coffee the marc stays in the cup, I always eat a little without wanting : Mrgreen:

One can even read the future in before using it in the printer
But I'm going astray ...

I saw superb coffee machines which ejected a "pellet" of grounds after each cup (the machine grinds the coffee as it goes)

That said, what about contrast? When you see what's in an ink: black smoke, oil, solvent ...

That's why I said: I'm skeptical :(

But I'm pessimistic for them ...

Right, they are thieves! Even for so-called "pro" printers: for example, on our HP2840: drum designed for 20 pages at 000% and we make 5 to 5000 with! Ditto with cartridge ... and each reloading is 6000 € !!!

We do 99% invoice or accounting: so the filling rate is of the order of 5% or less ...

So avoid HP at all costs !!!

But I think the others are kif kif except the "REAL PROS": kyocera for example but the purchase price is not the same ...
