Hello everybody
I have a small generator (car wiper motor). I would like to use it to power a battery via a small wind turbine. However when I connect my generator to a drill I measure a voltage of maximum 2 volts. Is this normal? Not knowing what type of generator I have, I made a photo
Thank you for your answers.
Generator - voltage to be identified

at its nominal speed (I think more than 1000 rpm) in genes it must provide you with 12 v.
it is a continuous motor with permanent magnets so its reversibility must be total ...
yes sorry, I meant in operation with the wind turbine, ie at lower speed, the voltage will never reach 12V

atension the wiper motors are at 2 speed: it is necessary to measure the tension in 1 wire and the mass
between the 2 wires there is only the voltage difference between the 2 speeds
it is the low speed wire which gives the best performance of the engine: the high speed wire is connected to a coal which does not use the engine in an optimum way: it turns faster but the performance is not good
