If you explained exactly what is grieving you ... it's not clear.
Me, what I find weird, he talks about 10 watt consumer standby, and on the video, it shows a consumption of 35 watts ...
But maybe you're talking about another problem, which is obvious to you; necessarily for everyone.
Explain clearly what is shocking you.

Rah ...
I thought I was clear on the video ...
When the printer is in APPEARANCE CUT (all led OFF), it consumes AS MUCH as when it is lit in standby (led ON) ...
This is 35 W because there are other devices in standby on the power strip ... we see that it falls to 25-26W when I disconnect the plug that corresponds to the printer ...

Well it's worse: since it's not even SLEEP ... since everything is OFF ... well everything "seems" OFF ...
Look at the video, I know it's not too visible but there is no led anymore!
ps: msn me when you have one of these 4 stp.

Bonjour Christophe
I just recovered an old Dell computer, I lift the hood and while it is off, there is a small hooligan that is lit on the motherboard. God knows what it's for. Finally where she is, there is no chance that we can see it lit from the outside. It must serve all 2 years, and at least 5 seconds when there is a maintenance to do and again ...
For many manufacturers, energy saving for the user is not part of the specifications, the product is 100% oriented mini cost for them, the rest is not seller.
A+
