Comparison between 2 t5 and 2 gu10 fluo

by gregdu13250 » 16/07/08, 00:33

Hi everyone I compare 3 fluorescent bulbs and two t5 tubes

Material used: 2 neons 8w t5 827 (1 ferromagnetic the other electronic), a megaman 2700K 7w and two direct energy 7w 2700k

The two tubes and the direct energy render the same color hue. The megaman moves away and is colder in color hue than a t5 8w 830

The electrodes:
Deosse gu 10 direct energy has a slightly black rib after 1 year of use, the second De has its filament dead after 6 months.
La megaman nickel, compared to DE it does a preheating cycle each time it is powered up.
the ferromagnetic t5 has the dimensions with a black spot and ditto for the second.

light output
measurement at needle lux.
The brightest t5
The less bright: The DE

Thank you for this little test which proves once again that "1st price" fluorescent bulbs are crap ... or almost ...

Here is a range of megaman fluorescent bulbs: economic and LED bulbs

Size level, if you have spot balls or other geometric shapes, the ED is the same size as the gu10 35w and the megaman will exceed 1 centimeter
