can one tell me what and where, to have a motor running (in high speed) without taking fire!
color :
white + white green black
brown blue black
merci!
Asynchronous motor connection ??
For the respirator, it's too late!
I see that the resin pot has already evaporated ...
---
Well, while waiting for the specialists, my experience:
On my drill press, I had installed in replacement of the original burnt, a ½ HP washing machine engine.
Well, there was a strand of 8 son cut (?).
For the plate (?), Now, there is no more label.
In the wires, there was a control for 2 speeds in one direction and an inverses speed.
I give you the colors of the strand:
Yellow-Green, Blue, Blue, Gray, White, Brown, Red, Black
Le Yellow green go to ground to connect to the ground.
Le Black goes to the capacitor 220V, 50 microfarad. On the other side of the condo, a wire goes to the 220 V
Le Red go to 220 V
Other wires are not connected
But my drill since runs rather fast ..
----
You can try it. That's what I had to do at the time.
Put the Black on the condo, and tests the other wires by blocking the engine with the foot.
You will see the speed and the desired direction ...

So did you finally succeed?
I have exactly the same question, I get 2 washing machine engine that I would like to convert to a generator but first of all I would test them in motor mode.
I will create a topic

Hello
there are "tons" of washing machine motor type (asynchronous)
l ideal being already recup condensers with the engine
for the connection it is necessary to already detect the diff coils:
starting winding
pv windings
winding gv
and if necessary the centrifugal contact or coupler
here are 3 examples but the list and much longer
