Hello,
Here I would like to have your opinion I have energy saving lamps in the house (bedrooms, living room, bathroom, and kitchen, so a total of 5) but I would like to know what you think for an energy saving lamp. energy in the WC. I saw that these kind of lamps take a lot of energy when starting. The toilets generally we rarely stay more than 10 min so is it profitable?
Thank you
Energy saving lamps

A fluorescent bulb does not consume more at startup than when it is hot, it even consumes a little less. On the other hand, the 1st generation of fluorescent bulbs (still widely sold) are very sensitive to repeated ON / OFF because the heating period of the filament is not respected.
This is not the case with Megaman Ingenium bulbs (2nd generation) which are designed to do 600 ON / OFF cycles and 000 h ...
Here are some models: economic and LED bulbs

This remark is also valid for many econological devices: with the progressive awareness of consumers and the wide dissemination of information on global warming, many economic players have understood the benefit they could make by surfing on this green wave.
Result: many m ... es designed with feet bearing a "good for the planet" label
Some examples beyond low-end fluo-compacts: certain solar collectors, most heat pumps (notably air-air), certain maintenance products, etc.
It will have to be done, the preservation of the planet is in fashion and, in the minds of some, everything that is in fashion could bring money ...
