Good news for our lights!

by Rulian » 26/04/07, 10:01

The buzz begins to rise in the news: the incandescent bulb is living its last hours.

See here : http://news.google.fr/news?hl=fr&ned=fr&q=ampoule&btnG=Recherche+Actualit%C3%A9s

For example: http://www.leconomiste.com/article.html?a=77377
http://www.news.fr/actualite/societe/0,3800002050,39368485,00.htm

The funny thing is that one of the most advanced countries on the issue is Australia which has always stood out by its refusal of the Kyoto Protocol.

Owl, owl, owl! Finally a very simple policy which advances the schmilblick. Then extend to other devices!

If the filament light bulb disappears, will it, by ricochet, cause the disappearance of the nuclear power plants that power them (at least in France)?

This would be a second victory for econology.

very soft: lighting only constitutes 10% of consumption!

and i will have to set up serious waste treatment channels: there is mercury in eco lamps!

Even if it's only 10% of energy, 10% of Terawatt consumed less, it does not hurt.
