What E14 Energy Saving Lamp for a Corridor?

by Mettero » 25/01/07, 10:10

Hello,

What energy saving lamp for a corridor? I would have taken the EDISON unfortunately they are only in E27 and I need a screwed cap. Unless you take adapters?

By the way, the bulbs will be directed to the ceiling? Are these LED lamps multidirectional, or will they only light my ceiling?

Thank you

Uh by any chance, the third on this page "Compact fluorescent bulb Spot reflector R50 E14 9W" could perhaps be suitable?

I'm not sure it's the best choice. Compact fluorescents take time to heat up and, in addition, have poor resistance to iterative lighting.

I would need the heating time actually ...

Well ... it's not 1st generation fluorescent ...

Cf:
This high quality Megaman bulb has a lifespan of 15h and 000 ON / OFF cycles.

The Ingenium technology also allows the reduction of the heating time (between 30 and 1 minute instead of the usual 3 to 4) ...

Yes ok but you do not find that 1 minute or even 30 seconds is a lot for a passage of a few seconds in a corridor?

If ... but if you have several light points it is because your corridor is big enough, right?

Otherwise I can only recommend the Sirius ... with an adapter ... :?:

4 light points; the corridor is cross: 15 m long by 8 m roughly without counting the staircase but in my opinion, I arrived at the bottom before the bulbs light up to the max.
Otherwise yes the leds, with adapter, is a solution

it is not pcq we want to save money that we have to c..la g ..., especially if elderly people frequent the corridor in question!

My opinion:

or you have a timer and you put good quality incandescent of 60 Watts with reflector

or the lighting periods are longer and you put TL tubes (improperly called "neons") of 18 watts of good brand, possibly equipped with a reflector and an electronic starter (not S11)
