Here, I am testing a 2 GB usb key, knowingly, knowing that there is a big risk of having only 256 GB at best, and having an access time, enough long ...

Several tests, one with cristaldiskmark

In comparison with a basic SSD, on an old laptop, not optimize to get maximum benefit ....

And I'm going to try to fill it, with mostly video, with which compression is very difficult, to gain in size....

I already had the pb, it announces 1 TB, and in fact, useful, you quickly find yourself with much less, and full of copy errors.

prices have come down incredibly.

in 2004 I bought a 256 MB for more than 50 € :P

2 TB for 5 €, mind-blowing.

Calm, I'm sure that from 256 GB, it's going to be even more complicated!

My first hard drive, a 10MB....

You don't seem to be the only one, to see in the "badly translated" comments
The adapter worked better than the pencil.... I put 350gb in the movie and only rolled the first 4 movies the rest didn't show up..... ie the pencil never has 2 to 12 Sep 2022 09:20
That too is amazing https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/1005004685850934.html

There are at least 10-15 days to find!

it's getting longer and longer to copy...

And after that, you'll have to see if it's still "readable"!

While at least 256 GB should be at least playable.

2TB at 5€... : Shock: : Shock: : Shock: there is 0.07€ difference between 1TB and 2TB... : Lol: : Lol: : Lol:

It's bound to be shitty flash in it (downgraded?)..

Just to compare...

A 1TB "unbranded" is 30€ on premium...
A 1TB Kingston is at 140€ on premium...

A legend says that some Chinese keys also contain viruses by default...

ps: funny the USB A female to C male adapter, I had never seen...

In 2018, I had found an old invoice from 1997 (in Francs therefore) from one of my first hard drives, I think it was a 256 MB or 512 MB...

I had calculated that between 1997 and 2018 the price in €/MB had been divided by 170...

Divided by 170 that means a price drop of 99.4%...

ps: my very first USB key is a 128 MB, it's still going! (Remundo, you're a filthy bourgeois!! : Lol: : Lol: )

The SSDs I have are 250 GB, and around €25, the oldest is around 3 years old, no apparent problem.

I still have a 20MB at home, not in IDE, 80, 120, 250, 540, 800MB, and also 8 GB, 20, 40 IDE, 160 from linux pc .....

I still have in the attic a card of 386SX, 486, some pross ....

My first computer, in 1980-1982, was a tandy TRS80, the "harmonica" model that fit in your pocket, about 1 kB of ram (identical to the scharp).

I have known hard drives which, for 20MB, were as big as a washing machine...

Alright, alright, alright....I need to finish filling in the key, to see which ability is actually accepted....
