Automatic chicken coop hatch

by izentrop » 25/11/20, 14:26

I already have one that has been running for years

There is a new model easier to achieve. I just made a video:
Excuse the stammering, made all at once. : Wink:

I too have had chickens that have fallen by the wayside.

Translation ?

It's schoolboy humor.
Translating would not make sense. To understand it, we have the mind or not.

And an electrified barn gate handyman who pretends to understand something in "arduino" programming, who knows how to change a light bulb and replace fuses, let alone.
Jealous : Oops:

Here, I updated the project, with the addition of the possibility of recording the bedtime by a long press on the button. The ideal is to do this about 15 minutes before the night is completely dark, that is to say 15 to 30 minutes after the hens have returned.
Other less visible improvements, such as reduced consumption and a more reliable reading of the battery voltage.

For those who know how to tinker, it is much cheaper than commercial products. https://forum.arduino.cc/t/trappe-autom ... 210810-ino

Whoever knows how to close a gate by hand, he does not give a damn about these brico-cons ...

You really have an adrenaline problem. :P
This is a shared henhouse and low tech door.
It is very practical not to move around to close the door for them when they have come back on their own and to open them when the day has come. You install it, you regulate it and you forget it. Finally, since you visit them at least once a day, you have time to remedy any possible failure.

Some people are passionate about video games or football, I'm low tech electrotechnical, you are insulting all those who do not think like you, everyone has their own thing. :P
