Google AGP (Accelerate Mobile Pages) ... the return of WAP ???

At a time when mobile phones and other tablets arrive at better resolutions than computer screens, Google encourages the use of a new standard: AMP ... which looks darned like the WAP "format" of old. more than 10 years ...

Here is the AMP version of the site: https://www.econologie.com/amp/
The site is however responsiv therefore completely compatible with mobile devices in terms of readability ... and given the power of current mobile devices I do not understand the interest ...

In short it looks like a fad more of google engineers to piss off small webmasters !!! : Cheesy:
