Different values between ecowatt and elink

by netshaman » 02/02/11, 00:49

I do not know about you but I do not understand why there is such a difference between the average consumption value indicated on the ecowatt and that calculated by the elink software.
Which is the most reliable?

Ex: on ecowatt: average: 66 € 72 * 12 months = 800 € / 2 = 400 € / year
on elink: 5 € 38 * 30 days 161 € 40; estimated annual: 1962 € 44/2 = 981 € 22!

Why such a difference ?

What is the good result?

Uh we lack information there ...

It would not be quite simply because the 1st is an estimate over a longer period and the 2nd over the last 30 days ... and as we are currently in winter, the electricity consumption is more important ...

Over 1 month 66,72 is not equal to 161,40 ... therefore necessarily the annual estimate does not correspond ...

: Idea: :?:

ps: pkoi divide by 2 at the end?

Because I only use electric heating 6 months a year.

Over 1 month 66,72 is not equal to 161,40 ..

Exactly why such a difference over a month?
It should be the same for both!

It would not be quite simply because the 1st is an estimate over a longer period and the 2nd over the last 30 days

The 2nd logically should be equal to the first if we multiply by the number of months in a year ...
So where is the bug?

The bug is that we understand nothing about what you say ... :D

If 5 € 38 is a big day (cold day so a lot of heating) it is normal that you have a big difference in estimate over the year since the other is done over a month ...

Otherwise sending screenshots and LCD display ...

On the other hand I noticed that on our LCD display (receiver) the average mode could completely mess up in the event of weak batteries (transmitter or receiver) ... but that does not influence the results in elink.
