Pump and vacuum motor (store energy in a vacuum?)

by orbs » 29/10/10, 11:17

Hello
please i have a few questions to ask about this forum:

knowing that we can store energy by compressing a gas in a volume, conversely can we accumulate energy by creating a vacuum in a given volume?
if so can we assess the primary energy need to store the secondary energy supply (created by the vacuum)?
possibly can we make a global comparison between these two storage means?
Thank you for your answers

It is quite possible but you would not have more recoverable energy than in 2 bars (or 1 bar in relative) ... that is to say very little.
