Avatar, Cameron Wahoww's movie!

by Capt_Maloche » 16/12/09, 15:58

Incredible, that's what I could say when I left the preview of the film

not just a film, a story, coherent, in another world just as coherent

breathtaking, I recommend to dreamers of forum

a special note for Lietseu amateur of SF and Nono who will be more concerned than all of us

A film that conveys some well-felt ecological and political messages

For Cameron, the history of the world comes down to the history of its coveted resources. In the case of Avatar, we are in 2154, the Earth has no more energy and the miracle ore is nestled on Pandora, under the roots of the giant house-tree, a protective deity whose entrails are inhabited by the blue Na'vis, aboriginal elves 3 meters high and formidable warriors. "They embody the best part of us, an intact connection with nature." This heavenly, luminescent nature, populated by fantastic creatures

What it looks like in relief is even better!
It would be worth it to take full the miracles to go see it in 3d!
Immersion should be on top this way.

Tell me Cap'tain, you who saw it, can we bring kids there (like 10 years old)? Will they be able to understand something there?

Frankly my teens loved it, the context is frankly magical, 3D is just the icing on the cake, sure that we gain in depth

but there are a bit harsh war scenes, 10/12 years mini I would say

I noticed that the "grumpy" (those who no longer dream) do not necessarily appreciate

Thank you Captain :D

I do indeed intend to go see it, the reviews in my weekly duck are excellent and the inspiration seems largely due (once again) to my favorite author, Alfred E. Van Vogt born in 1912! !! who wrote the excellent "In pursuit of the Slans"
"The cycles of A"
"The armories of Isher" etc .... a can loan 40 titles each more crazy than the other, it is not complicated, he invented almost all the universes that we see in the current and past films and I find it scandalous that we never website his name, even though he is one of the most prolific authors of good SF ...
Alien is a child next to his space creature who has been in the sidereal void for millions of years, feeding on a few neutrons and other photons and that luck will allow him to board a spaceship transport...
And the fauna so dear to our friends who love StarGate is also largely inspired by his books !!!! the bad guys with the long teeth are the Dreeg of van Vogt

I have somewhere an anthology of my favorite authors, I deliver it to everyone if you ask me, time to get my hands on it, it's a * .doc ...

Meow and long live the real imagination and creativity!
