Windows repayment at Auchan?

by coucou789456 » 19/04/09, 12:57

Hello

a good address, to find out the amount you will save if you have the Microsoft operating system removed from a computer ... for now only concerns AUCHAN stores but it will progress!

http://www.pcinpact.com/actu/news/50330 ... auchan.htm

you will discover there the value which is really allotted to the operating system compared to that which you could find in the trade.

Moué except that 90% of auchan's customers don't know how to install linux ... correctly ...

In addition 30 € for Vista I want but it is sold how much in box again? Much more right? Too much in any case for the stew that it is ...

At Auchan, they had better refuse to sell PCs preinstalled with Windows, many manufacturers now offer Linux PCs (eeepc in particular) ...

I vote for the marketing action rather than the change of policy against the abuse of MS ...

A real shame: 10 to 50 euros discount while the separate licenses (eg if you assemble your PC yourself) are billed 125 to 250 euros. People will tell me, you have to pay for the "reprint" workforce: pay to have something less, beek. You might as well order an assembler PC without an OS:

A recent "naked" PC is worth 200 euros! (without screen, mouse or keyboard)

Note that the more the share of hardware decreases, which is the case, and the more the share of software (OS and others) increases! So the question will arise more and more!

The easiest way is to start with OpenOffice. I succeeded, that's to say!

In fact, the real problem is that Linux is pro software for pros, otherwise Bill Gates' company would be bad! :D

For the rest, it is actually very easy for the current user to run entirely with free software, even old ones: I always use for my part Draw 4.0 from 1995 and office version 2000 (I don't want news )

On the bottom totally agree with you, when you're not a pro, the free and or old versions (debugged) are often simpler and just as effective, on the other hand for Office2000 it's pure masochism given the number buggs with which it is decked out !!! Especially Word ... it's concentrated!
