Well, it's not new, except that:

a) as they are less taxed, prices are much more indexed than with us on crude (prices REALLY doubled with them not with us)

b) the average consumption of cars must be between 12 and 15 L / 100 km, or what matters is the cost per km driven right?

And taking 0,96 € / L it is much more expensive than with us ...

But with the crisis the b) may well change ...

I don't see where you get a price of € 0.96 per liter, most of the prices being given per gallon and not per liter.

the current price is around $ 2 per gallon, or $ 0.53 per liter ... and at the current exchange rate, it should be no more than 0.42 € per liter.
