EDF ENERGIES NOUVELLES: purchase contracts for photovoltaic modules
(AOF) - EDF Energies Nouvelles has announced the signing of two new purchase contracts for photovoltaic modules to meet its development needs in solar energy. The first contract with Solarfun relates to an order for monocrystalline silicon modules for 17 MWp firm and 5 MWp optional. This order was placed jointly with Photon Power Technologies, EDF Energies Nouvelles' partner in France in solar energy and which will acquire around 20% of the volumes, said the specialist in renewable energies in a press release.
The second contract with Yingli Green Energy relates to the supply of
polycrystalline silicon modules for 7 MWp firm, and an additional 6 MWp in
option.
The modules are available in 2008. They are intended for the production of power plants, on the ground or on the roof, which are scheduled to be commissioned in 2008 and 2009.
