Sarkozy: the ecological and economic new deal

by Christophe » 25/09/07, 20:40

I would like to believe it ... it reminds me of Chirac's speech "the house is on fire ..." What has been in fact since in France? A few wind turbines, E85 and an increase in oil consumption ...

Nicolas Sarkozy on Tuesday launched a call from the UN platform for the advent of a "New ecological and economical deal"on a planetary scale to remedy the injustices that feed the instability of the world.

"I want to say on behalf of France, I want to say it solemnly and with seriousness: there are too many injustices in the world for the world to hope to live in peace", declared the French president, of whom it was the first speech to the UN General Assembly.

"I want to address the conscience of all those who have a responsibility in the conduct of world affairs," he continued. "It is a new state of mind that the world needs, it is a real New Deal on a planetary scale that is necessary, an ecological and economic New Deal."

It referred to the package of economic and social measures launched in the early 1930s by US President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and remained under this name of "New Deal" to get the United States out of the crisis of 1929.

"On behalf of France, I call on all States to come together to found the new world order of the XNUMXst century on this strong idea that the common goods of humanity must be placed under the responsibility of all humanity" , continued the French head of state.

He launched a "solemn appeal" to the United Nations so that they "provide themselves with the means to ensure for all men access to vital resources, water, energy, food, drugs, to knowledge "and" take in hand the question of a fairer distribution of profits, the rent of raw materials "and" technological rents ".

He also hoped that the international community would go "further" in the fight against corruption, "of which the poorest are the main victims".

"Things have to change, mentalities have to change, behavior has to change (...) It is our responsibility now because tomorrow it will be too late. Otherwise, we will see all the threats resurface. post-war men believed they had conjured up, ”he added. "Let's not take this risk lightly."

It is a stage like any other in the evolution of mentalities: Rome was not made in a day.

It has been a while since states have realized that the War was useless and counterproductive. We evolve little by little.

There is, moreover, a paradox in Humanity: we tapped each other proportionally much more on the g .. when we were only a few hundred million people populating the blue planet.

Hypothesis 1:
Since there are therefore more intelligent people in absolute terms, there may be some who have arrived behind the scenes of power.

Hypothesis 2:
(read Remy Chauvin) men have a collective intelligence like ants. At 6 billion, we may end up becoming intelligent. (this last word has been purposely left in the singular)

It's a way of seeing things, but are you saying that the political intelligence arrived with sarko?

What we expect as an econologist are concrete facts ... things a little more econologically effective than, for example, subsidies and tax credits having the effect of inflating the prices of gear. ..

Another example: France continues to build incinerators (burning compostable waste) instead of developing selective sorting.

Intelligence, you said?

Hello Elephant

Not sure that the ricans make this kind of calculation in their preventive wars (Iraq etc ...). In the American government there are many those who have interests in petroleum and in the factories of weapons .... (You saw the Film 11/09) : Evil:

Rather, I would have said more educated people. : Mrgreen:

He would do well to set an example: less air travel to all corners of France and the world. It is clear that the more we move, the more we are ==> + we pollute our environment. Our President must have had his odometer very high since his election.

In addition, he gives his ministers something on the go = see the housing ministry in Lyon in Algecos: this disguised decentralization is like nothing. They would have done better to use this money for the housing of the homeless and other destitute.

Only when he has brought down the last tree, the last river contaminated, the last fish caught that man will realize that money is not edible (Indian MOHAWK).

Ah yes I wanted to talk about it!

It is purely and simply a economic shame to make such measurements is purely and simply a monumental mismanagement and this in a state supposedly in bankruptcy!!

Again if it was for 6 months ... but for 2 weeks frankly ... I was on the ass hearing this ...

Uh, what's the "NAME"?

The New World Order ...

Long-term plan, for a unique power on earth (and beyond) ....
A future dictatorship, in the genre of anticipatory books and comics.

To get there, everything is good. Financial crisis, elimination, war, genocide. Nothing ecological.
Our politicians attend these meetings (Kouchner, Strauss K., for the coolest ...), and afterwards, something always comes out of state politics, to go to this NAME.
Problem: Sarkozy, Imperoratorix Premier of NOM, declares it openly (After Bush ...)

Ah yes ! I forgot ... Must not get carried away ... As the Raver said, "patati, patata, must give time to time ..."
Except that suddenly, during this time, the frog, in the pot which rises in temperature, does not make the step to get out ...
