Freeze Images ... stop?

One of the last shows criticizing the media is in trouble. Good to say that some of the last shows were pretty sore ... : Shock:

1- Daniel Schneidermann's Stop on Images program is stopped without explanation. A new bastion of the freedom of the press, and that of the intelligence, thus fell into the greatest silence. A program to decipher news, especially national politics, and communication strategies could no doubt only hinder.

2- Beyond the gravity of the decision, the method used was a rare discourtesy. Schneidermann had to shoot his last show without knowing if it was the last. Viewers must have watched it without knowing more. The team learned the news through the press. Courage reigns at France Télévisions.

3- A petition is online. Sign there, turn your address.
It's here : http://arret-sur-images.heraut.eu/

Hi,
I have only been making small jumps on the net for some time. But I was just looking for the stop support site address on Image.
To note a very interesting interview of Daniel Schneidermann in the Over there if I am there of 22/06/2007 listenable Here:
http://www.la-bas.org/article.php3?id_article=1215
It's at the start of the show, after it's hum ... Not listenable to all sensibilities.
I took the opportunity to sign the petition for Denis Robert which you will easily find on a good search engine.

And of course the future petition for the maintenance of "There if I am there" on France Inter.

Thank you, see you soon when I have a workshop lol.

Daniel Schneidermann dismissed for "serious misconduct"

Thirteen days after the announcement of the non-renewal of the program "Arrêt sur images" and a wave of "unprecedented" support, the presenter announced that he was dismissed "for serious misconduct".
While the petition in support of the decryption television show "Arrêt sur images" has collected more than 140.000 signatures, the presenter, Daniel Schneidermann, announced on Sunday July 1, on his blog, that he was fired "for misconduct serious". He writes: "My dismissal letter arrived on Saturday morning. I have been fired for 'serious misconduct', for everything I have written to you here on the BBB since June 13."

Must be serious ... I hallucinate ...

The presenter details on the Internet the contents of his letter of dismissal: "The letter is three pages long. I 'made inadmissible remarks'. [...] I organized' a deliberate smear campaign against the against the leaders of the chain and the Group going as far as personal attacks on its president Mr. Patrick de Carolis with the aim of putting pressure. "

Uh, I haven't watched all of the episodes, but that seems a bit exaggerated to me, isn't it?

Uh ... He called his superiors big dummies ... That's not true! They are just too close to power.
He demonstrated a bogus "roots and wings" report of Carolis getting revenge.
He disputes the impartiality of the mediator (and he is right) see the blog ...

We are dealing with a political decision, mixed with resentment, that's all.

But hey, it's already been a Lease that I no longer have TV, so it concerns me less ... On the other hand, the dismissal of Bonnaud on F-Inter !!!

Daniel Schneidermann himself said that it was not political. Carolis is also a long-time Chiraquian.

What is possible is that he wanted to fire Daniel out of revenge, and that he did it after the election of Sarko to amuse Chirac :D
