Sarkozy: his measures reducing individual freedoms

by Christophe » 29/04/07, 09:30

We still have a week to avoid the Sarkosist catastrophe, so all means are good for informing people about the character.

After the various videos, news and press articles, pkoi does not list the various "anti" democratic measures already taken by sarko when he was in government.

Here are two that come to mind:

a) Speed cameras: generally installed on motorways or expressways (therefore the safest compared to the km traveled), they only reduce accidents very little. Even if I am not completely against these radars, what I denounce is the lie about their use and effectiveness because it is therefore stupidly a new tax (so much the better from an econological point of view)

b) The DNA file for all inquiries. DNA records are taken for a "simple" motorcycle theft ... who can tell us where the abuse of this method will stop and especially in the event of an error (during the sample making you necessarily guilty)?

Speed cameras have already shown some gaps in false positives ...

That's all I see for the moment thank you for helping to enlarge this listing to try to avoid ... democracy ...

Decree against Internet and mobile
Discreetly, on the sidelines of the campaign, the government is preparing a decree which, if applied, would kill the "made in France" Internet. Indeed, under the pretext of monitoring Internet users as closely as possible, an implementing decree for the law on confidence in the digital economy of June 21, 2004, requires that site editors, hosts and fixed and mobile telephony and Internet service providers, keep all traces of internet users and mobile subscribers, to deliver them to the judicial police or to the State, on request ....

In other words, there is no longer a need for a letter rogatory to ask permission from an examining magistrate. Justice is no longer concerned ... Arbitrariness will rule.

A plate in good condition allows good flashing with automatic radar.

The cops have instructions on this subject elsewhere. Last year, I got arrested twice, and each time it was because my plate had a "defect". The rest, they didn't care.

Read before going to vote ... (especially the last part). It takes 10 minutes to read it, the president is elected for 5 years ... You will not be able to say that you did not know.
To forward!

Generalized file
The Police Offenses Processing System (STIC) and the Gendarmerie JUdiciaire Documentation and Exploitation System (JUDEX) are two national files, in addition to the criminal record, grouping procedures, offenses, individuals, victims and objects implicated. In all, nearly 22 million people are referred to it. These files can be consulted during an administrative inquiry or during recruitment for certain jobs (file security: ARIANE, at a cost of 15 million euros. Added to this is the General Information (RG) files, System of Schengen Information (SIS) and the Europol TECS Information System).

The National Data Protection Commission (CNIL), the Data Protection Federation (FIL), the National Consultative Commission for Human Rights (CNCDH) and others denounce the considerable number of errors, sometimes very serious (the victim becomes the culprit, etc.) contained in these files (about 25%) and the virtual impossibility for people to assert their rights. The CNIL thus deleted 36% of the Schengen files (SIS) and 44% of the STIC files which it had to check in 2005, because they were erroneous, manifestly not justified or whose retention period had expired ”.

DNA file in case of violation of the law
Lionel Jospin had set up the National Automated DNA File (FNAEG) to collect the DNA of sex offenders found guilty. The law of 18 March 2003 on internal security extended the levy to all persons dealing with the police (guilty as suspects) regardless of the type of crime (pickpocketing, tags, demonstrations ...) , with the sole exception of financial crimes. A DNA sample costs 400 euros, which is kept for forty years.

National biometric identity card and passport

In accordance with what the European Union recommends and what the United States has been demanding since September 11, 2001, France will acquire a compulsory national identity card and pay containing biometric information on its bearer. It will contain the fingerprints
digital and the digital facial image of French nationals. This last file will allow, thanks to facial recognition software, identity control by video surveillance. In addition, identity control can be done by a remote reader, therefore without the knowledge of individuals.

The purpose of the project is to establish a universal card integrating identity, medical and social information and the ability to carry out monetary transactions.

Abolition of professional secrecy
The crime prevention bill proposes "shared professional secrecy" allowing mayors to access the medical, psychiatric, social and educational information of their fellow citizens. They can use them to manage family allowances.

Volunteer Citizen Service
The Voluntary Citizen Service (SCV) has just been set up in ten pilot regions. For citizens who wish to do so, it is a matter of volunteering to help the police force ensure public safety. Volunteers will be recruited after an interview and an administrative investigation. They will be able to participate "in support and strengthening of parental authority, reception and monitoring of victims, prevention, mediation and explanation of the
law within the framework of school structures ”. As part of their duties, they will benefit from police immunity. Applicants are invited to collect a registration form from the nearest police station.

Taser: one more pistol for the police
The Taser is a pistol inflicting an electrical discharge of 50 volts and 000 milliamps up to a distance of 2 meters. The person is neutralized by the paralysis of his nervous system for 10 seconds. After a test phase started since January 5 on 2004 people, 130 police officers and 1000 gendarmes were equipped with Taser in 1. Ultimately, each police car should be equipped, that is to say 000 vehicles. A Taser costs 2006 euros. The Taser leaves no traces, creates acute suffering and is likely to be used to intimidate,
humiliate, torture or speak to suspects, detainees, prisoners or ordinary citizens. Thus, this pistol is similar to an object of torture within the meaning of the United Nations Convention against Torture of 1984 (France signed this protocol on September 16, 2005 and has not yet ratified it).
This weapon which has already killed more than 200 people in the United States is banned in Belgium, Italy, the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Serbia, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand and in Pakistan.

Storage of Internet and telephone data
After six months of debate, MEPs adopted the directive proposed by the Commission which makes it compulsory for telephone operators and Internet service providers to keep the connection data of their subscribers. This concerns calls made by landline and mobile phones, text messages and e-mails. It's about being able to determine who communicated with whom, when and for how long. The retention period of this data may range from six months to two years depending on the wishes of the States.

In December 2005, the Senate after the National Assembly adopted the anti-terrorism bill: all Internet service providers will have to keep our connection data for up to a year.

Merit award for police officers
On July 21, 2004, an exceptional performance bonus, individually or collectively, for all categories of national police officers was introduced. This “merit pay” rewards the performance of agents calculated based on their results.

The amount of this bonus was 5 million euros in 2004, it will reach 20 million euros in 2007. More than 17 bonuses were awarded in 000 with an average amount of 2004 euros. In 290, over 2006 bonuses were awarded with an average amount of 36 euros.

All of this, Nicolas Sarkozy has done in less than four years as Minister of State. Imagine what he will do in five years to the supreme office of President of the Republic.

It is important that we keep in mind that the above devices have been applied in the total absence of democratic consultation and are fully funded by our taxes. Before offering our confidence to the promises of a candidate, let's first look at what he has already accomplished concretely to get an idea of the future.

Its relations with big bosses and the media
Nicolas Sarkozy describes his witness to marriage, Martin Bouygues as "his best friend". The latter heads the Bouygues group listed on the CAC 40 which brings together three major sectors: mobile telephony with Bouygues Telecom the construction of public infrastructure: highways, bridges, complexes, but also the last prisons for minors ordered by the Minister of the Interior ; and the media with TF1, LCI, Eurosport International

It is very close to the two largest French arms manufacturers and main press owners: Arnaud Lagardère (arms company owner of Elle, Jeune et jolie, Europe 1, Europe 2, Radio RFM, Fayard, Grasset, Hachette, Hatier , Nathan, Nice Matin, Paris match, Pariscope, Télé7jours ... and chairman of the board of directors of EADS which owns 7,5% of the capital of Airbus) and Serge Dassault (armaments company owning Le Figaro, TV Magazine, L'Express, L'Expansion).

The two main competitors who share the luxury industry in France François Pinault (Mittal Steel, Le Point, Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Conforama, FNAC, Gucci, La Redoute, Le Printemps, Yves Saint Laurent) and Bernard Arnault his other witness wedding, first fortune
of France and seventh in the world with 20 billion euros, which owns the first luxury group in the world LVMH (Céline, Chaumet, Dior, Donna Karan, Emilio Pucci, Fendi, Givenchy, Guerlain, Kenzo, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Sephora, Tag Heuer ...) are also very close to him.

We also count him as personal friends Jean-Claude Decaux (JC Decaux), Dominique Desseigne (Groupe Lucien Barrière: first European group of casinos), Edouard de Rothschild (Rothschild bank, Liberation, Global Asset Management), Franz-Olivier Giesbert (Le Point), Etienne Mougeotte (TF1), Patrick Le Lay (TF1), Pierre Louette (AFP), Jean-Marie Colombani (Le Monde) and Jean-Pierre Elkabbach (President of Europe 1).

Censorship News
In November 2005, the song "Tous les tizenfants" by the group formed by Polémix and La Voix Off based on an interview with Nicolas Sarkozy must be part of the "CQFD" compilation, published by the magazine Les Inrockuptibles. But the Sacem (collective management company of copyright for music) partner of the operation, forbids it, considering that the song was "not available for broadcast", also explaining that the Minister of the Interior will not tolerate no such words and threatens
perpetrators of heavy convictions.

The publication of the biography of Cécilia Sarkozy, 'Entre le coeur et la raison', of Valérie Domain, news director of the magazine Gala was banned from publication after Vincent Barbare, head of First editions which were to publish the work, was summoned November 9
2005 in an interview at Place Beauvau with the Minister of the Interior, despite the 25 copies already printed.

In November 2005, Julie Decroix and Maël de Calan, the two people in charge of the 'Young People of Paris' training at the UMP, decided to leave the structure, making public the pressures that had been exerted on them. They were followed by Marie Guévenoux, president of this
formation, which was shortly afterwards also forced to resign to be replaced by someone more cooperative. They opened the forum Cybermilitant.org to communicate freely about what was going on within the organization. With more than 3000 members it quickly becomes the forum
of reference for young UMP activists who wished to issue critical opinions. The management of the UMP obtained its closure a few months later.

AFP freelance writer Raphaëlle Picard has been banned from working for reporting the police intervention of October 4, 2006 in the city of Mureaux. She reported the testimonies of residents who were abused and robbed by the police, including very young children.

In August 2005, Paris Match published a photo showing the wife of the Minister of the Interior, Cécilia Sarkozy, in the company of her lover, the president of Moroccan origin of Publicis Events Worldwide, Richard Attias. The Minister of the Interior then asked his friend and director of the newspaper, Arnaud Lagardère, the dismissal of the director of the publication Alain Genestar, which will be done in June 2006. Shortly after his dismissal, the program I> Match, presented by Alain Genestar on I> Télé was also
deleted due to lack of budget.

Serge Portelli, magistrate, vice-president of the Paris court, president of the 12th Correctional Chamber, had just written a new work: 'Ruptures', taking stock of Sarkozy's five years spent in government. At the last moment, the publisher gave up publishing this text,
leaving more time for a new publisher to publish it before the presidential election. The book is available on the Internet: www.betapolitics.fr
The i> TELE editorial staff was invited to a meal at Place Beauvau with the Minister of the Interior on December 6, 2006. The journalist, Laurent Bazin, who had described this meeting "off" on his blog - hosted by the channel, to withdraw the article at the request of the management. Following too much pressure, he announced on January 24, 2007 the closure of his blog.

At the beginning of March 2007, when a committee of associations in favor of the homeless went to the Ministry of Social Cohesion where he was expected for a meeting, the security forces molested several members of the association of the Children of Don Quixote, including their spokesperson Augustin Legrand.

Michel Guérin had written to the prefect of Loire-Atlantique to renounce the expulsion of journalist Elvis Kouanga Kazeta, refugee and hosted in France since 2002 and threatened with death in his country. The Minister of the Interior lodged a complaint against Michel Guérin, as an "accomplice" after his letter was published on the Internet by an Internet user. He is accused of having "damaged the honor and the consideration of public officials, in this case, the prefects".

A few days after the UMP candidate established his campaign headquarters at 18 rue d'Enghien, in the same arrondissement of Paris, the residents of the three buildings facing it receive a letter dated January 15 asking them to respond as soon as possible to a security census by calling a telephone number. The responding agent is part of the General Information of the Paris police headquarters. After having registered the civil status of his interlocutor, he evokes the terrorist dangers, the presence of a possible sniper on the roofs, etc ... Cars and police cars are permanently posted in the street.

At the end of March 2007, the Society of Journalists of France 3 and the two unions of the channel, the SNJ and the CGT, were indignant at the words of the UMP candidate who said to have been forced to wait before being made up to participate in the program "France Europe Express": "All this direction, it must be transferred [...] I cannot do it now. But they lose nothing by waiting. It will not be long ”.
