GMO: Gilles Lemaire threatened with seizure on his apartment

by Targol » 21/09/06, 19:36

The former number one in the Greens has received a notice of foreclosure of his Paris home following the destruction of transgenic corn two years ago.

Noël Mamère denounces "a process of intimidation".

The former national secretary of the environmental movement received Monday a notice of seizure of his apartment, located in the XNUMXrd arrondissement. The seizure should take place "within eight days" according to the document, for the benefit of the company Biogemma, owner of the crops.

Gilles Lemaire stressed, during a press conference in his modest home, that five years had elapsed before the trial of Monsanto, the world's leading producer of GMO seeds (note: open in Carcassonne on Monday for facts noted in 2000) while six months are generally sufficient to bring the "voluntary reapers" to justice.

Mother's anger

"We are faced with a process of intimidation," said deputy Noël Mamère, who himself was recently the subject of a seizure procedure. "The large trusts have certainly decided on a common procedure," he added. The deputy of Gironde was astonished that it "took 17 years for justice to take up a case of false voters in the XNUMXrd arrondissement, (allowing) the current president (of the Republic Jacques Chirac) to do what is called the grand slam at the town hall of Paris ".

Gilles Lemaire, appealed and warned that if the court's decision was unfavorable to him, the case would be brought before the European Court of Justice.

Yeah, that is to know: as soon as you think you are likely to pay large sums, you have to become insolvent:

- "leave his wife" (or divorce if one has not taken the precaution of getting married under the regime of separation of property.
- hand over his buildings to his children
- put his home in a fictitious home: that's where the bailiffs go.
