Are CNews, FranceInfo, BFMTV and LCI all (still?) News channels?

"L'Obs" spent a day in front of the four French news channels non-stop. A selection of three highlights at the same time on CNews, BFMTV, FranceInfo and LCI makes it possible to realize whether all of them remain in the news, a selection that we have submitted to the semiologist François Jost for decryption.

For the first time in its history, a strike movement disrupts the antenna of the blue radio, worried about the grip operated by Vincent Bolloré. The fear of journalists? To know the same fate as feu-Itélé. Bertrand Chameroy has never failed to note, with the distance that humor allows, the spectacular "road trips" of Eric Zemmour, to be surprised at Christine Kelly's passivity in the face of infox, to mock the counter news of the toutologists taking part in the program of Pascal Praud, and even to evoke at the beginning of June the assumption that CNews would start to "plug things in the material of Europe 1".

mental hygiene? It wouldn't be bad if he applied his philosophy to himself. In fact it is reassuring and worrying at the same time, because it is human!

In Europe 1 would rats leave the ship?

Europe 1: employees rush to quit the radio

The management plan called for nearly 40 departures. There would be 80 volunteers.

It's no longer a wave, it's a tsunami. Pascale Clark, Anne Roumanoff, Wendy Bouchard, Patrick Cohen, Julian Bugier, Matthieu Belliard, Bertrand Chameroy, Émilie Mazoyer and Sophie Larmoyer… Every day that passes at Europe 1 brings its share of new departures. Voluntary or constrained.

Arnaud Lagardere: "Europe 1 will not become an opinion radio"

The exodus is massive and does not only affect the great voices on the air. Beyond these personalities, nearly 80 employees would have liked to leave the station. An employee mentions the number of “78 requests”. At the beginning of June, the management and the unions of Europe 1 validated a "collective contractual rupture", targeting 39 positions minimum and up to 48 in total. The departing candidates had until last Tuesday to submit their application. "If you add these requests to those of negotiated layoffs and at the end of certain fixed-term contracts of use, that risks doing a lot, a lot of people", notes an employee.

When you think that in the 60s, Europe N ° 1 was the radio to listen to to have information not filtered by the power like at the ORTF, and not filtered by the traders anxious to make friends with the power, like Radio Luxembourg ex RTL, and that today it is in complete loss of speed!

Rise and fall!
