Here is the calendar of seasonal fruits and vegetables

To consume with more reason, in a more seasonal way (and more ecological and local if possible):

This calendar has forgotten figs, persimmons, plums and apricots and are months early!
Cherries start one month late, compared to mine, always 2 weeks before the raspberries!
Pears and apples combine blithely picking season and industrial preservation, almost impossible by fans.
With this method the grapes are good until Christmas !!

Hi everybody,

Here's income goes a long justified eating local products, and this subject will always trulupine much.

I always had some doubts about it, for different reasons.
1) Few legumes that we currently consume, existed in nature before.
2) Man is originally frugivorous and has often survived by moving around while gathering food to find foods that meet his needs ... And it is around the cold season that we need it most of vitamin "C", period when there are no fruits ...

Apart from the fact that being "locavore" is beneficial for the environment, it is not frankly better for health ...! Besides, I consume fresh fruit all year round, picked in the region. And straight out of a large A ++ class freezer ... 8)

Excellent!

Just add 1ère oil pressure and oil seeds throughout the year (daily spoon) ...

... And it seems perfect to me!

PS: you have the source?

To complement and or correct:

In winter, do not forget the celery for those who like (me). And brussel sprouts! (More than cauliflower or Brocollis - try to grow out greenhouses outside Spain or Morocco now !!!)

Winter output (currently) dandelion (a dandelion salad bowl is my evening meal at this time)!

Spring / Summer / Winter output: mince (delicious, rich in omega 3) ...
