Seeking House Laundry (made from Marseille soap)

by x-buster » 28/08/09, 23:03

Hello,
I heard that you could do your laundry even with marseille soap, boiling water and baking food. Would anyone have a recipe?

Good evening

I'm sorry I did not bring you a personal answer, but I found it on another forum, that should suit you

I will add anyway, if you can do your laundry machine with rainwater collected, no need for fabric softener, it is the ideal water for laundry.

on the other hand, not at the top for the washing machine: too calcareous water = deposit on the heating elements and coarse linen, and rain water, soft linen, but beware of the rust, and the foam due to the laundry.

I found a recipe that uses 3L boiling water (I guess you can take rainwater), 3c. baking soda, 150ml white vinegar and a dozen drop of essential oils. What is the role of white vinegar?
