Here is a photo of the investiture of Barack Obama of January 20, where we can distinguish almost each person in the crowd.

This photo was taken with a 1 megapixel robot camera, which is 474 times more power than the 295 megapixel photos or a little more than our family cameras.

It is an assembly of several hundred photos, gigapan is the name of the software that guides the camera and assembles the different shots.

Ah not at all finally, here is how the "giga photo" is taken http://www.gigapansystems.com/ in fact it is therefore not an instant photo, it must have a few seconds (minutes) of removal depending on the location of the photo!

$ 370 for the thing it's even cheap I think given the specificity of the thing ...

This type of shot must probably come from satellite observation technology or something like that. It may also be what they use in stadiums for Houligan surveillance to find a guy in the crowd.
