Some loose ideas of econological gifts, to complete ...
a) Intangible gift: a theater ticket, an invitation to the restaurant, lessons or lessons, time spent with others ...
In short, a non-material intellectual gift ...
b) A ... GREEN PLANT, a shrub or even a tree, in short something vegetal ... This point could be the subject of a cyberaction: offer a plant for Christmas! https://www.econologie.com/forums/faites-pas ... t4253.html
c) Second-hand or recovery equipment see https://www.econologie.com/forums/consommati ... t4087.html
d) Small items from fair trade (Oxfam ...)
e) Local crafts (Christmas market)
f) Offer energy savings! For example: economic light bulbs economic and LED bulbs ou https://www.econologie.com/shop/ampoules-led-c-90
Other ideas: electricity savings et garden and DIY

Bonjour à tous
The idea is excellent, very often adults remember that at school, in I do not know what little class, they were planting a bean or peas to observe their growth. They remember 30 years later, while they do not remember the other gadgets around that were offered in the same period.
It is very educational for children, to learn to observe, to protect something fragile, to discover the green living.
Offer a "mother-in-law cushion". (Black foot expression !?)
A+

Seed of old varieties also ^^
For my part, you never really know what to offer me at Christmas so being a collector of video games I asked my entourage to collect a maximum of old games in a big box. It gets rid of it, it's economical (practically free), ecological (rather than throwing away) and it expands my collection

Nice list but not very happy ...
The survival guide is because it's 2012?
I believe more and more in the saying: Christmas green, Christmas without a gift!
This year I decided to buy most of my gifts from the craftsmen of the Christmas markets (more or less local crafts, be careful with fake shops made in china ...) and it's less easy than buying single-use household appliances ...
