Rest in peace !
Buy a wave sachet?
You have to be careful, there is a part in there that is dangerous if not protected by scrap metal!

The primary of the transformer?
Does it also grill or not? because it could in there, bad contact?

The transformer of a 600W microwave oven...does not dissipate 500W eh...well, not in normal times...hence my question: where does the energy go???
Yes it grills and yes it still works (at 1000W)!

In electronics, I saw the calculations to change an electron layer, the arsenic to add, etc., but no real editing ....
And it's all a bit old!

hard to give you a clear answer
but the magnetron:
https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magn%C3%A9troneven defective in the end, can consume a lot of electrical power
There are of course all the transformers upstream...

Yes the magnetron is most likely very cooked..
But 500W to dissipate is a lot...

the magnetron is a thing that excites electrons and loses a lot by radiation.
I wouldn't be shocked if a half-dilapidated magnetron swallowed 500 W.

Yes precisely 500W lost in radiation... but what kind of radiation?
