It's produced near you! Local and seasonal purchase!

by Christophe » 07/10/10, 11:10

Yesterday in the mailbox we received a brochure "It's produced near you" (it changes lidl or cora pubs ...) which lists different producers or breeders selling directly to individuals within a radius of about 100 km .

That is to say in local short circuit and in season and ensuring a real income for the producer, something which is more and more difficult to keep up with the large distribution given their abuses ...

So I wanted to let you know because it's rare enough to be reported.

An electronic version, in the form of a directory, for Belgium is available here: http://www.apaqw.be/page.asp?id=1060&langue=FR

I don't know if there are equivalents for France ...

Short production circuits provide you with food products that contribute to your well-being near you.

Whether you are an experienced cook or simply a gourmet, Walloon agricultural products can only fill you. You will find there a wide choice of season which will allow you to establish varied menus with incomparable flavors.

You will also identify local producers with a specific sign affixed to the farm and showing the logo opposite.

The artisanal quality offered to you implies an unusual professional mastery. It combines respect for the environment by adapting individual production practices.

Environmental management helps build confidence. Walloon producers are thus economic players who contribute to sustainable production.

All the Walloon products presented to you are also part of a balanced, original and varied diet. The artisans of taste are committed to it.

Bon appétit!

Discover without delay the producers in your region! : http://www.apaqw.be/page.asp?id=1060&langue=FR

We also offer you the calendar of seasonal organic fruits and vegetables (A3 format).

Other downloads: http://www.apaqw.be/page.asp?id=1389&langue=FR (corresponding subject https://www.econologie.com/forums/3-e-books- ... 10021.html ) which are in fact real cookbooks with lots of original and authentic recipes, all illustrated please, I'm already hungry !! Yep, Belgian cuisine is not just pan fried or fried ...

And here are 2 more regional and seasonal production calendars (fruits and vegetables)

Tonight:
Leek soup, potatoes with fresh goat cheese. (All organic)
The poultry broth cube will advantageously be replaced by vegetable broth.

Hello !
I hope this topic is still relevant today. Yes, there are equivalents of this platform in France. For example, Cobeia - they connect producers and consumers online (but not like a grocery store). There are the producers who create the stands by themselves from all over France, it is as if you were at the market. And the best part is, it's not expensive because they don't take a big commission.
Look, you will find the producers next to you: https://www.cobeia.com/

Buying local in season, although necessary, is not always easy depending on your agenda. Now integrating into working life, my job allows me, for example, to use my purchasing power to develop healthy and responsible consumption. The problem is that I have long sought a practical and reliable solution to consume local products without having to go to the other end of the city to find a farmers' market.

Unable to go to the markets during the week, I inquired about the online sales platform which offers the delivery of basket of local products in my city of residence in Montpellier and I discovered the local Hérault site: https://heraultlocal.fr/

Beyond just selling baskets like most sites in France do, there is a lot of work on the creation of video and photo content around the theme. It allows me to learn a little more every day about local know-how and the history behind each product.

And what is your solution to provide you with quality local products despite your busy schedules?
